A teenage boy's died following a hit and run crash in Norfolk.

Police were called to The Street, Swafield at 6.24pm yesterday evening (Thursday 10 August 2023) following reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a white Ford Ranger truck and a pedal cycle.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including Ambulance and Air Ambulance.

The cyclist, a teenage boy, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the Ford Ranger - a man in his fifties - failed to stop but was found a short while later.

He's been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
