19-year-old charged after reports of a young girl being filmed in toilet in Great Yarmouth
The teenager is due in court today (Monday 22nd July 2024)
A 19-year-old man has been charged with a voyeurism offence following an incident in Great Yarmouth last week.
Police had been investigating a report that someone had filmed a young girl in a public toilet, by placing a mobile phone under the cubicle wall.
The incident was reported to have taken place in a supermarket near Vauxhall Station on Wednesday 17 July 2024.
Following enquiries, a suspect was arrested on Friday 19 July in Northampton and taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Alfie Walker, aged 19, of Regent Street, Northampton was charged with voyeurism, and remanded to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court today (Monday 22 July 2024).
