Teen fatally stabbed in Norwich

Police are continuing to investigate a murder in Norwich, after a teenager was fatally stabbed.
Emergency services were called to Vale Green just before 7pm yesterday evening (28 January).
He was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Pending formal Coroner’s inquest proceedings, police have provisionally identified the deceased as Joe Dix. His next of kin have been informed.
Two people, a man aged in his 40s and a woman aged in her 30s were arrested shortly after in connection with the incident.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Freeman said: "A number of police resources, including armed units, were deployed to the scene.
"A murder investigation has been launched and we are in the early stages of our enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.”
