Police arrest another man in connection with stabbing in Norwich

Police investigating the stabbing of a man in Norwich last week have arrested another man in connection with the incident.

A 17-year-old boy appeared in court regarding the case, which saw a teenager being stabbed on Motum Road last Thursday (February 3rd).

The boy admitted to affray while a hearing at Norwich Magistrates' Court, and will be held by police until being sentenced.

But a second man, aged 33, was also arrested yesterday (February 8th) at 5pm at a property on Sprowston Road in connection with the stabbing.

The man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and continues to be questioned by the Norfolk Constabulary at the Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

The victim of the stabbing was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.

However, the victim was later in connection with an aggravated burglary on Magpie Road in Norwich. He has since been released on bail while police investigations continue.
