King's Lynn sit sixth in the premiership - after another loss to local rivals, the Ipswich Witches.

They were beaten 51-39.

Whilst it wasn't enough for a win, Stars' skipper Nicolai Klindt did manage to take points off both of the Witches’ top two, Emil Sayfutdinov and Jason Doyle, on their home track – after Sayfutdinov smashed the Foxhall track record in Heat 1.

They then lost Klindt in heat nine - after it was ruled he caused an opposition rider to crash.

Ipswich lost their Rising Star reserve Dan Thompson with a dislocated shoulder after he came down in first-bend bunching in Heat 2, leaving the home side short-handed.

Following their win, Ipswich remain fourth and add two points to their total, closing the gap on the two teams above them.

King’s Lynn stay sixth.
