Motorbike rider dies in crash during Snetterton race meet

A rider's died and several others have been seriously injured in a crash in Snetterton.
It happened at the start of a race at the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club meeting on Sunday morning (2nd July), just after 11am.
Posting a statement on their Facebook page, the organisers said they're devastated by what's happened: "At 11:02am yesterday, Sunday 2nd July 2023, a collision occurred at the start of the Lansdowne Classic Series race at the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club meeting at Snetterton.
"This incident involved several riders, some of whom were seriously injured. Tragically, one rider succumbed to his injuries and died soon afterwards. Another remains in hospital.
"The hearts and minds of all in the club are with the families of those involved at this time."
