Police discover a body in Sheringham
A member of the public found the body in Beeston Common
A body's been discovered in Sheringham.
Police were called around 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 31st May) after a member of the public found the body in Beeston Common.
While formal identification hasn't taken place yet, officers have informed the family of missing 92-year-old Norman Carter, from Sheringham, who was last seen walking on Cromer Road on the evening of Tuesday 23 May 2023.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police say a file will be prepared for the coroner.
