Second woman dies following crash on the A11 at Ketteringham

A second woman has died following a collision on the A11 at Ketteringham at the weekend.

At around 5.15am on Sunday 3 November, patrolling officers came across a black Mini One which had left the southbound carriageway and collided with a tree shortly after the junction with Station Lane.

The road was closed whilst emergency services including fire, ambulance and air ambulance attended the scene.

A rear passenger in the car, a woman in her 20s, sadly died at the scene.

The driver, who was in her 30s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but sadly died yesterday (Tuesday 5 November).

Two other passengers, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s, who were seriously injured remain in hospital a stable condition.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of the Mini prior to the incident.
