A seal has been found lethargic and under weight on Great Yarmouth Beach.

Friends of Horsey Seals were called after the young Atlantic Grey was seen not to move for 24 hours, which is not normally a good sign.

He also had laboured breathing and has been taken to the RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre to be looked after.

A spokesperson for Friends of Horsey Seals said:

"We rely on the public to report seals that might be in distress and need help.

"If you spot a seal in trouble please call our emergency number 07706 314514."
