Costessey headteacher pays tribute to 8-year-old Natasha Kuczynski, a week after her death
"She was kind, generous and always took pride in her learning"
A week after an eight year old girl was found dead in a home in Costessey, her school headteacher's paying tribute to her.
"She'd come into the school with a smile on her face"
Matthew Cross is headteacher at Queen's Hill School, where Natasha was a pupil:
"Natasha was one of those people that I think every teacher would want in their class. You would see her at the gates in the morning and she'd come into the school with a smile on her face and was always ready to learn.
"She she had a great group of friends, was kind, generous and always took pride in her learning.
"She was that friend, that was compassionate, caring, looked out for people and also made them laugh. She had a really good sense of humour and and that will be remembered too.
"Natasha will be such a great loss to the school and to the wider school community that is going to be felt for many months and and and years to come."
"Really instrumental this week"
The school have been supported this week by the Norfolk County Council Critical incident team and members of the Salvation army.
Matthew explained: "They have been really instrumental this week in making sure that we've got additional space and services for pupils.
"They just want to have that space to either draw a picture, comment in a memorial book, create artwork to go on a memorial tree and reflect on those happy memories as well as how they're feeling."
