Multiple schools around Norwich closed due to coronavirus

It's due to positive cases or staff self-isolating

A number of schools in the Norwich area have been partially closed today due to coronavirus cases.

Six schools around the city have had to stop certain years or classes coming in because of a positive case or staff having to self-isolate.

The full list includes:

St Faiths CofE VC Primary - the school is closed to Chestnut class unless parents have been contacted, home learning is available on Teams.

Colman Infant School - fully closed due to Covid-19 cases, due to reopen on Monday 7th December. Online learning will be done via Tapestry.

Colman Junior School - closed to pupils in Year 4 but the rest of the school is open as usual. Online learning for students is in place.

Little Plumstead CE VA Primary School - partial closure of year 4 and 5.

Magdalen Gates Primary School - The Year 2 bubble is closed due to staff being required to self-isolate. All learning will be provided on Tapestry. Any child who is entitled to free school meals is being asked to contact the school office

Catton Grove Primary School - partially closed due to a positive coronavirus case, the school is closed for Caterpillars only (2-year-old Provision) from today. The first day of return for theses pupils is Friday 4th December. Remote learning arrangements are in place for this 'bubble' to access.
