Man assaulted and robbed at bus stop in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward

A man needed hospital treatment for facial injuries following a robbery in Norwich.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was assaulted by a man at a bus stop on Dereham Road at around 11.50am on Wednesday 17 March.

Items including tobacco and food are believed to have been stolen from his rucksack.

The suspect is described as man in his 20s with short cropped blond hair and wearing a khaki jacket, jeans and trainers.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident to come forward and are particularly keen to hear from a man who spoke to the victim afterwards.

He is described as white, six foot tall, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and glasses.
