Restrictions in place after bluetongue found on Norfolk farm
A 10km 'temporary control zone' has been put in place around a farm in Cantley.
Restrictions have been put in place around a Broadland farm, after several cases of the viral disease bluetongue were found in cattle there.
A 10km 'Temporary Control Zone' has been imposed by the Animal and Plant Health Agency around the premises in Cantley, between Loddon and Acle.
It means livestock owners will be unable to move their animals except under certain cicumstances.
For example milking cows can be moved to a dairy and back to a barn or a field.
Bluetongue is a viral disease that doesn't post a risk to humans. It can lead to swelling of the face and tongue, as well as a high fevel.
