The Prince of Wales has paid a surprise visit to the county, on day two of the Royal Norfolk Show.

Prince William is at the annual country show to present the Bishop of Norwich Sustainable Environmentalist Young Employee of the Year Award.

The winner was Robert Jackets, an apprentice at Salle Farms, who won £1000.

During his visit to the showground, the Prince also spent time talking with the emergency services:

It's expected he will also tour the site, which has the best of the county's agriculture on show.

It's the 170th time the Royal Norfolk Show, hosted by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association, has been held.

Thousands are expected to attend over two days, with over 700 organisations are taking part.
