£60,000 worth of antique jewellery taken from shop in Beccles

Thieves broke into a store on Blyburgate between Friday and Saturday last week

Around £60,000 worth of antique jewellery has been stolen from a shop in Beccles.

It happened sometime overnight between Friday (September 8) at 4:30pm and Saturday (September 9th) at 9:15am.

A window pane was removed from the store on Blyburgate, with thieves climbing in and breaking into two display cabinets.

An investigation is ongoing and police are urging any witnesses to get in touch.

They're also urging anyone who is offered antiques under suspicious circumstances to get in touch.
