£1,000 worth of tools stolen from charity shed

The shed was used for charity events to combat male isolation

Norfolk Police are appealing for information after more than £1,000 worth of tools were stolen from a shed used to run charity activities.

The shed, in Bungay Road, Poringland, was used as part of the charity Men's Sheds Association to combat isolation.

It was broken into between 10am on Tuesday 3 November 2020 and 3pm on Tuesday 17 November 2020.

A padlock was broken and welding and blacksmiths machinery stolen including; ASIP 140 Arc Welder R-Tec Item, Mig Welder R-Tec, darkening visor helmet R-Tec, electric welder, CO2 cylinder, gauges and regulators R-Tec, a bench wheel grinder and blacksmith hand tools including hammers, files and tongs. Some items were marked with the letters PDMS (Poringland and District Men’s Shed).
