Police continue to investigate two deaths in Norwich

Police are continuing to investigate the deaths of a man and a woman in Norwich.

Officers were called to an address in Middleton Crescent at 11.30am on Saturday (31 July) following concerns for safety. On arrival they found the bodies of a man and a woman.

The deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time. Post mortem examinations to establish the cause of death and formal identification procedures will take place in due course.

Detective Inspector Matt Stuart said:

"Whilst we are treating the deaths of this man and woman as unexplained at this stage, we do believe this is an isolated incident and we are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with their deaths. A cordon remains in place at the property whilst officers continue to work to establish the circumstances leading up to the man and woman’s death.”
