Norfolk Police release CCTV images after Norwich assault

One man suffered a fractured jaw

Police are appealing for help to identify a number of people they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Norwich.

It happened in Prince of Wales Road, close to the junction with Eastbourne Place, in Norwich at approximately 8.20pm on Sunday 11 September 2022 when two groups of young men and women became involved in an altercation.

One of the men was assaulted in the altercation and knocked unconscious. He suffered bruising and a fractured jaw in the incident and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. He has since been discharged from hospital.

Now officers have released CCTV images of people they would like to speak to in connection with the assault.

PC Michelle Crouch at Bethel Street Police Station said: “This was particularly nasty, and I’m keen to hear from anybody who recognises these people or knows of their whereabouts as they may be able to help our investigation.”
