Appeal after transgender woman abused in Lowestoft

Witnesses are being asked to contact Suffolk Police

Police are appealing for information after a hate crime in Lowestoft.

During the incident on Tuesday 7 May in Spruce Court, two juveniles shouted abuse at a transgender woman after she complained about their anti-social behaviour.

The suspects are described as white males in their mid-teens. One is around 5ft 7ins tall, slim build, with long dark hair, wearing a dark grey T-shirt with a white band.

The other is around 5ft 8ins tall, with short dark hair shaved at the back. He was wearing glasses.

The incident took place at noon and anyone who believes they can recognise the suspects or help the investigation in any way is asked to contact Suffolk Police.
