Police appeal for witnesses after serious assault in Norwich
A man was hospitalised with injuries following the attack on Dereham Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Norwich on Tuesday (19 November).
Emergency services were called to Dereham Road at 6:41pm, where they found the victim lying in the road. He had fallen after being attacked.
The man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and was later discharged.
Dereham Road was closed while officers and paramedics responded to the incident, reopening at 7:40pm.
Police are asking anyone who saw the assault or has further information to come forward.
