Police have released CCTV footage following a serious assault after a collision in Corpusty.

The incident happened on Monday 29 January shortly before 11am when a blue Mitsubishi and a small hatchback collided on The Street.

Both drivers exited their vehicles and had a brief conversation, before the driver of the hatchback assaulted the driver of the Mitsubishi.

The driver of the hatchback is described as a white man, of a slim build, with brown and grey beard, long brown hair in a pony tail. He was wearing light blue jeans, and a green and brown fur lined coat.

After the assault, he left the scene in the hatchback which is described as an older style red three door.

It is believed there would be damaged to the front of the vehicle.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may recognise the vehicle or who may know the driver. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch.
