Police appeal after woman raped in Thetford park
She was attacked by an unknown man in Castle Park
Police are appealing for information after a serious sexual assault in Thetford's Castle Park overnight.
It happened between 11pm on Sunday and 1am this morning (May 9). The victim, a woman in her 30s, was raped by an unknown man.
The scene has been sealed off by police while investigations continue.
Detective Inspector Rich Weller said: "We are in the early stages of our enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who was in the Castle Park area of Thetford during the times stated, as they may be able to help with our investigation.
"Officers local to the area have increased their patrols and engagement with the community and are continuing to support the victim.”
