Teenagers arrested after Pakefield murder have bail extended as investigation continues

It comes after the death of 82 year old Joy Middleditch in March

An investigation into the suspected murder of a woman in Pakefield in March is continuing, with two teenage suspects having their bail extended once again.

82 year old Joy Middleditch was fatally injured at some point between the evening of Friday March 24 and early Saturday morning on March 25 at her home in Grayson Avenue.

It's thought she'd been robbed.

She passed away in hospital on March 27, having told police two masked intruders had entered her home and knocked her to the floor.

On March 31 two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of her murder.

Their bail has now extended once again, until August 28.

Police are still appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
