A royal Pageantmaster from Norfolk has told us that those involved in the coronation will be "confident, but on their toes"- ahead of the big day

Bruno Peek has been managing and overseeing major events for over 30 years- including The Queen's Golden and Diamond Jubilees.

He also helped organised beacon lighting for Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

"They'll be confident but on their toes"

"It's rehearse, rehearse, rehearse and I know that the Armed Forces are working really hard to ensure that their element is a great success. People will be, not nervous, they'll be confident but on their toes".

"I think they the King and Queen are going to be feeling amazing. After all these years as heirs to the throne, suddenly for it to happen.

"It's like celebrating your 21st birthday, you have good birthdays but you also have special birthdays in your lifetime".

"He's got a real strength of character"

He told us about the last time he met the King- on Coronation Day, in March:

"We went to the Palace after the event for a drinks reception. His Majesty was in good form and so was the Queen Consort.

"He greeted my wife very nicely and asked where she was off to, she said "I'm off to the toilet, sir".

"He The King has a good sense of humour. He's very dedicated that's the impression I get. He knows exactly what he wants and doesn't suffer fools gladly.

"He's got a real strength of character and I always say, behind a good man is good woman and certainly has a good woman in the Queen."
