Those working on Norwich's SOS Bus over the Christmas period are calling on those celebrating in the city over Christmas- to book their taxi's well ahead of time

It comes as bars, pubs and clubs in Norwich are expected to be busy over both today and tomorrow- as people welcome in the new year

"We're happy to help anyone"

Belinda Buxton is one of those volunteering:

"We have got a phone-charging service. We also have got flip-flops from donations for tired feet. We will also have our medical team on, along with our support vehicles. So if anyone needs any help- even if it's just waiting for a taxi- you can come and see us to say hello"

"Our team will help you find your friends, get a lift home or just be a listening ear. We deal with a lot of injuries and also mental health issues. So we're happy to help anyone.

"Stay with your friends"

"We have a list of taxi numbers- as people tend to stick to one firm, but if that's booked they get a bit stuck about what to do next.

"Ultimately- it's a lot better to pre-book your taxi before you go out. Also stay with your friends and if you do lose them give them a text instead of a call, because if they are in a club they will only look at their phone occasionally.
