Norwich are sixth in the Championship - after losing a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2 with Sheffield Wednesday.

The Canaries were two goals ahead at half time thanks to Josh Sargent and Borja Sainz but had to settle for just a point after two late goals from the hosts.

"We're disappointed by the result," Head Coach David Wagner said.

"If you lead 2-0 and play so well, a big credit to the players, they defended so well. Gave more or less nothing away in the first half.

"We scored two wonderful goals, but then we have to kill the game. This is where we have to ask ourselves and be angry with ourselves that we didn't kill the game.

"We had so many good chances, played some good football. You have to have the killer instinct, being ruthless in the box. This is what we haven't done.

"We've won games and collected points from set-pieces, but today we lost points from set-pieces. Very good set-pieces, to be fair. This is what the disappointment is, especially with the amount of chances we had.

"I am proud in terms of how they played, and how they created the opportunities, how they defended together, but we have not finished our job today."

Meanwhile, Gabriel Sara's described the loss as "really disappointing" : "It's really frustrating, I think we started so well and scored twice.

"There's not much to say, we had the chances and played good football, we didn't score and just conceded.

"We will have to think about our mistakes, and then be better in the next game. I can take responsibility, I had my own chances and I missed. We'll have to focus on these moments, because these games are really important."

He's hoping the Canaries' will bounce back during their trip to Preston on Saturday: "Especially in this time of the season, and we'll have to move on. We have our next game on Saturday, and we'll have to be better and ruthless in this kind of game.

"I hope we can be."
