Norwich City have beaten Bristol Rovers 3-1 in a replay of the FA Cup game that ended 1-1 on the 6th of January.

The team made the trip to the Memorial Stadium where goals from Gabriel Sara, Adam Idah and Kenny Mclean saw them progress into the 4th round of the FA cup.

This means a 500 mile round trip to Merseyside to face Premier League leaders later this month.

It’s been over two years since Norwich were in the Premier League, and their start to this season has been lack-lustre, seeing them sit at 11th in the Championship.

Liverpool on the other hand are topping the Premier League, and will be looking for their 8th FA cup, while Norwich are looking for their first.

Norwich fans can take positives from the fact they’ve gone unbeaten so far in 2024, as they will look to cause an upset at Anfield at the end of January.

But first they've got to face high-flying West Brom at Carrow Road this Saturday and Leeds United at Elland Road on the following Wednesday.
