Norwich City trio set to miss out on Boxing Day trip to Luton
Sam Byram, Todd Cantwell and Aaron Ramsay are all out through injury
Norwich City trio Sam Byram, Todd Cantwell and Aaron Ramsay are all set to miss out on the Boxing Day trip to Luton.
The Canaries head to Kenilworth Road for their first post-Christmas fixture. The Hatters have recently appointed Rob Edwards as a replacement for Nathan Jones.
Speaking to the Norwich City website, boss Dean Smith said: "We've got a couple out injured. AJ felt his knee, Todd felt his groin, so he'll be out too. We'll look at a couple of others."
"Sam Byram will be doing a restart session today and training with us tomorrow, but won't be available for Monday, and Lungi is a little bit further away.
"We'll be in today, tomorrow, and Christmas morning. The players will have some time with their families. Then we'll travel on the day to Luton.
"They’ve only had the one game since the World Cup, as the Millwall game got called off. They’ve not been as good at Kenilworth Road as they have on the road.
"It's a tough place to go. It'll be a tough afternoon, but we're more than capable of getting three points."
