Norwich City sign Spain international Borja Sainz
The 22 year old has been capped at the u19s level for his home country
Norwich City have signed 22 year old Spain international Borja Sainz, after his move awat from Turkish side Giresunspor.
The winger is a product of the Athletic Bilbao academy. He has also spent time at La Liga 2 side Deportivo Alavés.
Speaking to the Norwich City website, Sainz said: “I’m very happy to belong to this great club. What I’ve seen has been amazing. I’ve liked it very much.
“I’ve been told about the club. I knew about it from its time in the Premier League and I’m very impressed as well. Everything is very professional, very nice people and I’ve never seen facilities as good as what is here.
“As a player, I like the one-on-ones. I’m very vertical, I like to score goals and also help in defence. I hope this would be a good year for the team.
“In the end, I’m here to help the team. It’s a great club and I’ll give my best to help it to succeed.”
