Sam Byram, Kieran McDowell and Michael McGovern among players set to exit Norwich City
All are being let go as their contracts come to an end over the summer
Sam Byram, Kieran Dowell and Michael McGovern are among players set to leave Carrow Road, as their contracts with Norwich City expire over the summer.
Dowell has made 75 appearances for the Canaries, scoring 12 times.
Byram has played 54 times for Norwich since joining from West Ham in 2019.
McGovern, one of the club's longest serving players, has made 42 appearances in all competitions.
Josh Martin and Danel Sinani, both currently out on loan, are also set to depart.
Loanee players Isaac Hayden and Marquinhos are returning to their parent clubs. Teemu Pukki, who announced his departure earlier this year, leaves the club as Norwich's fourth all-time top scorer
Norwich City Sporting Director Stuart Webber said: “I’d like to thank the boys for their contribution to the club over the time they have been with us.
“Michael has enjoyed two promotions and has been an outstanding professional throughout his time with us.
"Kieran and Sam both enjoyed being in the squad for the record-breaking points tally we have achieved in the Championship in 2021, with Kieran scoring some valuable goals during the run in.
“We wish all of the players well. They know that they are all, along with their families, welcome back at Carrow Road or the Lotus Training Centre any time.”
