Norwich City are out of the Carabao Cup - suffering a 3-0 home loss to Liverpool.

Canaries boss Daniel Farke had been targeting the League Cup as some silverware that could've been coming to Carrow Road.

He said, "We wanted to win the Carabao Cup and now we can't.

"I am disappointed with this.

"I know how much I measure this cup and I would like to win but we also had to be smart in our team selection and rest some players.

"Overall I was pleased wit our performance - we created so many situations but we were unable to convert our key chances."

The visitors scored after just four minutes to take the lead in the game, with Takumi Minamino getting two of Liverpool's three goals.
