Norwich City head into Coventry clash with an almost full squad
Ben Gibson will be out through injury
Norwich City boss David Wagner has almost a full squad to pick from for this Saturday's trip to Coventry.
Centre-back Ben Gibson will be out through injury, although Wagner revealed he has been back in training: "Ben trained this week, most of the training, not all of the sessions...
"He's in a good place, I have no concerns for after Coventry but he won't be in the squad for Saturday."
Wagner was equally impressed with both his side and the travelling support.
There have been no fresh injuries since last weekend's win at Preston.
Despite the win, Wagner doesn't want to get ahead of himself: "I saw a good game, but it was only one game. I felt relief after four or five weeks without a win.
"The lads needed it. The performance against Blackburn was good but without the result," he continued.
"We were the ones who were aggressive, showed the intensity and the energy that are crucial in our game. This is what I expect.
"We have more than 2,500 away supporters on Saturday again, and the energy they provide us, I hope our performance is on that level again.
"We had another week of training which should help us and hopefully we can make another step on Saturday."
On this weekend's opposition, led by former Canary Mark Robins, Wagner expects a difficult challenge but wants to focus on Norwich's own performance:
"They are a footballing team. They like to have the ball. We respect them but we want to win. We're focused on us, doing our stuff right.
"We are aware of what we will face and we'll let the players know. The most important thing is we play to our strengths, show the energy and intensity, and I'm quite confident we can be successful."
