Labour retain control of Norwich City Council
The results of the Norwich City Council local election have been declared.
Labour have retained their control of Norwich City Council after residents headed to the polls to vote for a third of the authority's councillors on Thursday 6th May.
A third of the seats, or 13 places, were up for re-election this year.
The election in the Sewell ward has been delayed until later this year.
Of those being contested nine were Labour, three Liberal Democrat, and one Green.
Labour held the majority going into the election.
They came away with eight, while Green secured three seats, and Liberal Democrats one.
