Kenny McLean and Josh Sargent scored as Norwich City concluded their pre-season with a 2-0 win over Greek side Olympiacos at home.

Scotsman McLean broke the deadlock after 20 minutes, with a long-range effort that deceived the the goalkeeper after a deflection.

In the second half, Sargent made the most of a Gabriel Sara free-kick.

Summer signings Jack Stacey, Shane Duffy, Christian Fassnacht and Ashley Barnes made their Carrow Road debuts, and Kellen Fisher made an appearance off the bench.

Head coach David Wagner was pleased with the performance: "I think we've seen a very technical side with Olympiacos...

"They took care of the ball very well, we had to work hard. I think what the players have done, I'm more than pleased with how they defended, how they kept their shape, and I think we limited them on clear-cut chances.

"Obviously, we were lucky with the first goal and the second from a set-piece as well where (Shane) Duffy has shown all of his physicality. Josh was in a position where he should be as a striker and took the tap in. It was a good game, a good win, a good performance as well."

The Canaries begin their Championship campaign next week (Saturday, August 5), as they host Hull City at Carrow Road.
