A fire which partially destroyed a village hall in North Norfolk yesterday is now being treated as a potential arson.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze at Walsingham Village Hall, in Wells Road, shortly before 4.30pm yesterday.

Flames engulfed the roof of the building, which had collapsed by yesterday evening.

The fire had been put out by around 7pm.

Norfolk Police are now working with the fire service to determine the cause of the blaze, which they think was an arson attack.
