Norfolk rugby coach "confident" England will beat Wales in Six Nations
Freddie Steward, who was born near Dereham, retains his place at full-back
A rugby Norfolk coach is telling us he's confident that England will win again in the Six Nations, today- against what's being described as their "biggest rival" in the sport.
Steve Borthwick's men face Wales at home, in the tournament- after they beat Italy last Saturday. With local lad Freddie Steward retaining his place at full-back.
"We want to see is a gradual improvement"
Darren Clarke says there's still work to do:
"I think we have to be patient with England. I was happy that we didn't run away with a huge win because I think we would now be over excited.
"I think there was a range of good performances from those who made their debut. I was also happy to see that Italy didn't get thrashed, as I think you need a strong Italy to have a good Six Nations tournament.
"Hopefully we can be a little bit more expansive in this game. I think we do the basics well, but getting to the next level will be the difficult thing.
"It's not going to happen overnight and what we want to see is a gradual improvement throughout the games. Fingers crossed we'll see that."
"I think we need to understand our new game-plan- as there was a lot of talk about this improved defensive model. I think it's a patience thing for us.
"England vs Wales is one of the biggest rivalries"
"I think England will win. England vs Wales is one of the biggest rivalries not only in the Six Nations but in Rugby full-stop.
"I think every club in England has some Welsh members. I'll be watching the game with one of my Welsh friends.
"Wales are in the rebuilding phase as well and are a young team. I think in the Scotland game they showed they still have that passion.
"I think they'll be coming into this one as underdogs and England would be expected to win at home".
Kick-off is at 4.45pm, this afternoon at Twickenham.
