Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Norwich on Monday 15 January.

Officers were called to Riverside Road at 6.30pm after a black Mitsubishi Mirage collided with parked cars. They attended, but the occupant(s) of the vehicle had fled the scene.

The black Mitsubishi Mirage had been reported as stolen a short while earlier.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on Thursday 18 January on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving without insurance or a licence, failing to report and failing to stop after an accident. He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has since been released on bail.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
