Norfolk Police is warning the public that needlessly queuing for petrol is causing congestion and could impact emergency services.

They're also urging people to follow government guidance around buying fuel and to not call them about queues at stations.

They told us they've not yet been impacted by the on going situation and are still able to provide their service as normal, to the local area.

Local GPs from Norfolk and Waveney and the NFU have also told us that they are not yet experiencing any issues due to the fuel crisis.

Petrol stations across the country have been struggling to meet demand over the last few days due to panic buying.

It comes as the country struggles with shortages of lorry and tanker drivers.
