Norfolk Police launch 'Street Safe' so public can anonymously flag unsafe areas
The Police say it will allow them to focus efforts on spots prone to anti-social behaviour or poor street lighting
Norfolk Police has launched a new programme where anyone can anonymously flag areas where they don't feel safe.
The service say Street Safe is central to their efforts to tackle violence against women and girls. As it allows them to focus efforts on spots prone to anti-social behaviour or environmental issues like poor street lighting.
The initiative is not however designed to report crimes or incidents on. If something has happened to you or somebody you know, you should call 101 or 999 if an emergency.
