A Norfolk MP, who's beaten off cancer, will be showing her support for Macmillan today (24 September).

Chloe Smith will be popping into various Macmillan coffee mornings throughout Norwich.

The Norwich North representative was diagnosed with breast cancer last November, which she overcame in June.

Ms Smith told us that while these events are fun and bring out the best in the community, the message behind these mornings mustn't be forgotten:

"Its fun and a great way to back local venues. But please do remember to take it seriously as well, if you ever do find a possible sign of cancer do get it checked and don't delay"

She went on to say that after successfully after battling cancer, its personally "more important than ever to support this campaign."
