People from across Norfolk are in London today- to pay their respects and tributes to Her Majesty the Queen.

Her coffin is making it's way from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, shortly before 2:30pm, where she will lie In state for four days, before her funeral.

"Such devoted service to the nation"

Duncan Baker is the MP for North Norfolk and told us why he's staying in the capital.

"Right up until the very end, she was quite clearly wanting carry out her duties of meeting the new Prime Minister, on Tuesday before her sad passing. We will never see a monarch again, who has had to come through such incredible periods of time with such devoted service to the nation and I think she will always be remembered not as Queen Elizabeth but as Queen Elizabeth, the Great".

"Members of Parliament are given four tickets for family members to visit. I'm going to allocate those to my staff- who they all have the opportunity to see this, once in a lifetime experience, and pay their respects. But, while I'm going to the procession, I'm going to watch the funeral back home because I want to be with my family for that".

"Out of a sense of respect"

James Bagge is one of Norfolk's Deputy Lieutenants and chaired their organising committee for the Platinum Jubilee.

"I would like to, and intend to walk past the coffin itself but I realise there is going to be a huge number of people who will also want to do that. But, out of a sense of respect I'd still like to do that".

"She has been such a remarkable person, she deserve every accolade that we can all give her. We've had so many wonderful tributes to Her Majesty over the last few days. All of them resonate with one, and one enjoys hearing them all because she means so many different things to some many different people- but all in a wonderfully good way".
