Man dies following industrial incident in East Tuddenham

A man has died following an industrial incident in Norfolk.

Emergency services were called to a commercial premises on Sandy Lane, East Tuddenham, at around 8.50am on Monday (20 October) following reports of an industrial incident.

Police have confirmed that a man sustained fatal injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers remain at the site and are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the incident in partnership with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

A police spokesperson said:

“We were called by the ambulance service at around 8.50am following reports of an industrial incident at a commercial premises in Sandy Lane, East Tuddenham, where a man had suffered fatal injuries and sadly died at the scene.

"Officers are investigating alongside colleagues from the HSE.”

A HSE spokesperson said: “We are working with Norfolk Police to established what happened.”  

No further details have been released at this time while enquiries continue.
