Rupert Lowe MP has announced the formal launch of Restore Britain, a new national political party, during an event in Great Yarmouth.

Lowe was elected in Great Yarmouth as a member of the Reform Party in 2024. He now sits as an independent following his suspension from the party in March 2025.

The announcement marks the introduction of Restore Britain as a political movement that aims to field hundreds of candidates in the upcoming General Election.

This party aims to set itself apart by drawing candidates from outside the traditional political establishment.

Restore Britain will operate as a national umbrella organisation, coordinating with local parties to address community-specific priorities.

Rupert Lowe confirmed his intention to stand for election again in Great Yarmouth, alongside another newly established local partner party, Great Yarmouth First.
