Nearly £370k to be spent repairing Cromer's RNLI museum building
The RNLI Henry Blogg Museum has been shut since last year - after exhibits started getting damaged.
Plans to repair a council building housing Cromer's RNLI museum have been approved.
At a cabinet meeting, north Norfolk councillors agreed to spend nearly 370 thousand pounds to fix chronic damp at Rocket House.
NNDC has agreed to enter into a new 25-year lease for the Sheringham Lifeboat Station, supporting the RNLI’s intention to invest in substantial building repairs and restart activity from the site.
The station’s operations were temporarily suspended in January 2025 due to concerns about the building’s safety.
