Body believed to be missing Norfolk man found in Wymondham
Police say the family of a missing pensioner have been informed of the discovery.
Officers were called to Rightup Lane at 12.15pm on Sunday 27th December after a member of the publice reported finding an elderly man unresponsive on the ground.
Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of 92 year-old Frank Fidgeon from Bodham near Holt have been told about the discovery.
Mr Fidgeon was reported missing from his home on Boxing Day afternoon after failing to turn up for a family visit at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for a coroner in due course.
