Officers searching for missing man Anthony Hill have appealed for anybody who was in the area on Monday morning with dashcam footage to get in touch.

The search team are also appealing for anyone living around Mousehold Heath, or on one of the routes officers believe Anthony may have taken from Plumstead Road, Sprowston Road, along Gilman Road and to Mousehold Heath, to check their doorbell footage from Monday. It may provide helpful information regarding Anthony’s whereabouts.

Inspector Adam Binns said: “I know this has been incredibly distressing for Anthony’s family and we remain in close contact with them, keeping them updated of the ongoing work in this case. We can’t imagine how they must be feeling.

“We understand it has also had a significant impact on the wider community and would ask anyone who lives in the area, is regularly in the area, or was around the area on Monday, to check any footage they have. You may have the missing piece of information.

“Our search efforts continue around Mousehold Heath and specially trained search officers will continue to search the woodland. Mousehold is several acres and we haven’t searched it all yet. This is likely to go on for the rest of today and into tomorrow.”

Officers will be conducting house to house enquires, speaking to members of the local community and continuing to collect CCTV from businesses and homes to help confirm Anthony’s last known movements.
