Man suffers broken bones after assault at Lowestoft shop

A man has been treated for cuts and broken bones in his face after an assault in a shop in Lowestoft at the weekend.

The victim, a 70 year old man, was followed into the B&M in London Road North between 3:40pm and 4pm on Saturday (January 7).

He was then grabbed from behind by the man, before behing headbutted.

He fell to the ground and suffered a broken cheekbone and a cut to his nose.

Police are looking for a man described as white and in his late 20s or early 30s.

He was wearing a black beanie hat with a red logo, a black coat with a blue hooded top underneath, navy jogging bottoms with a white stripe down the side and black trainers.
