Man seriously injured after crash in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the A140 between Erpingham and Hanworth.

It happened at 1.20pm on Tuesday 9 December 2025 near the junction of Church Road.

A black Volkswagen Caddy van collided with a white Ford B Max and a DAF lorry.

Initially the driver of the Volkswagen, a man in his 40s was thought to have minor injuries. On Friday 2 January he was the taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by ambulance with a serious injury believed to relate to the collision.

The drivers of the Ford B Max and DAF lorry, a man in his 80s and a man in his 50s, sustained minor injuries.
