Man sentenced after shop thefts

A man has been sentenced after stealing from shops and breaching his court order.
35 year old Joe Brown, of no fixed address appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday after pleading guilty to five counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order and four counts of theft from a shop.
This follows five incidents that occurred between 5 August and 16 August 2025. On 16 August, he returned to one of the same shops but was challenged by staff and told to leave.
During his court appearance Brown was handed a 12-week sentence and was ordered to pay £227 in compensation.
