Man remanded in custody after stabbing in Diss
It's after a man was taken to hospital with stab wounds last week
A man has been remanded in custody after being charged in connection with a stabbing in Diss last week.
Police were called to Victoria Road at around 10:50am on February 22 to reports of an assault.
It's thought the victim, who was taken to hospital with stab wounds, was attacked in a property in nearby Bartrums Mews.
He has since been discharged.
Wayne Harnett, 47, of Bartrums Mews, has been charged with GBH and threatening a person with a bladed article in a private dwelling.
He appeared before Norwich Magistrates Court earlier today and has been remanded in custody ahead of a future hearing.
